Konimpex and its Midsummer Day Concert
25 June 2017
In June 2017, the Midsummer Day Concert organized by Konimpex, Otwarcie Foundation and Przegląd Koniński magazine was held in Konin Old Town.
We listened to the Symphony Orchestra of I.J. Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz conducted by maestro Jakub Chrenowicz. One of the best guitarists in the world, Ana Isabel Montesinos Aragón, performed on stage too. The theme of the event was Spanish music, which is why the concert was full of outstanding Spanish works such as Georges Bizet - Suites from Carmen Opera No. 1 and 2 (selection), Joaquin Rodrigo - Concierto de Aranjuez, Manuel de Falla - El sombrero de tres picos - Suite No. 2 and Emmanuel Chabrier - Espana.
