In Konimpex, business activities are combined with care for the natural environment and initiatives for the benefit of the local community. Caring for the satisfaction of its contractors, the company also has in mind the personal development and employee satisfaction.

Business area 

The implemented Labour Standards Policy is aimed at building long-term partner co-operation with contractors based on the principles of ethics and transparency. Care for the quality of goods and services and ensuring their stable delivery is associated with the implementation and respect of international quality standards.

Environmental area 

The company strives to limit the negative impact on the environment owing to the Quality and Environmental Policy. Konimpex cares for the environment and, wherever possible, reduces the amount and harmfulness of waste and reduces water and energy consumption.

Social area

Social responsibility shows in the respect for human rights and ensuring equal opportunities for all stakeholders. Konimpex employs people with disabilities on various positions, taking into account the possibility of performing the ordered work. These are people who have been employed for many years, holding responsible positions in various organizational units of the company. By reaching consecutive career levels, they develop their professional skills.

The company provides employees with opportunities to develop and improve their qualifications. Employees of the company co-operate with universities, including the State University of Applied Sciences in Konin, giving lectures and workshops. These activities have a significant impact on the education and experience of the young generation.

In addition, the company gets involved in numerous charitable initiatives, supporting the weaker and those in need of help. Konimpex is the founder of “Otwarcie” Foundation for the Development of Children and Youth in Konin, which launched the first Rehabilitation, Education and Didactic Centre with headquarters in Marianów. Konimpex organizes annual concerts of classical music for Konin residents. The performances of the largest Polish orchestras taking place in the Old Town of Konin attract crowds of music lovers each year. In the previous editions, the Old Town in Konin hosted performances of, among others, I.J. Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra from Bydgoszcz, Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra and Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic Choir with Quo Vadis oratorio by Feliks Nowowiejski. Sinfonia Varsovia conducted by Jerzy Maksymiuk, the Academic Symphony Orchestra of Lviv Philharmonic INSO-Lviv conducted by Volodymyr Syvochip, Lviv Choir GLORIA, Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Łukasz Borowicz, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice conducted by Jakub Chrenowicz, the Academic Choir of J. Szyrocki West-Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin; the Choir of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok, Poznań Chamber Choir and children and youth choir of the 1st and 2nd degree Music School in Konin, Łukasz Kuropaczewski, Adam Kruszewski (baritone), Piotr Kusiewicz (tenor) and Marta Boberska (soprano), Janusz Wawrowski, Szymon Jabłoński.

Our achievements 

In the summary of the contest “Leaders of Philanthropy” organized by Forum Darczyńców, Konimpex was ranked 5th among companies that donated the highest percentage of their income before tax to social purposes in 2015. In 2016, Konimpex was ranked 3rd in the “Open labour market” category in the regional competition Lodołamacze 2016. Winners of Lodołamacze are companies, institutions and organizations that overcome stereotypes and prejudices. These are employers open to the needs of disabled people, giving their employees the chance to develop. In 2021, Konimpex received a diploma for helping in a pandemic. On the occasion of Children's Day, we bought educational and didactic materials for the children from the hospital in Konin.
