The statutory purposes of the Otwarcie Foundation:

• Action for the benefit of people with disabilities, including people with mental disabilities.
• Providing assistance to children and particularly talented people in difficult situations and people with disabilities.
• Undertaking and supporting activities to promote education among people with disabilities and people and children with difficult access to it.
• Providing assistance to poor and socially important institutions in difficult material situations, especially disabled people and care facilities.
• Providing assistance to facilitate the start of disadvantaged children and people with disabilities in working life.
• Social and professional activation of young people, including the disabled, with particular emphasis on mental disabilities.
• Conducting comprehensive activities to support and pursue educational, cultural and health initiatives.
• Support for scientific and sporting activities.
